Once upon a........ MILKSHAKE

It's not ONCE UPON A TIME IN CHINA movie. Rather, I am quite amused by the name.
I had been hearing this place offering great milkshake. But never have a chance to go there until last night.
YES! Milkshake is my favourite. Since young, I always like Burger king's milkshake. But no idea why they don't sell it anymore. Only in recent years, then MacDonald started to sell it again.

Chocolate truffle and Pirate Queen Peach

I got the mini-sized one which costs $3.60 each. The milkshake is thick and full-flavoured. Very NICE! I like the Chocolate Truffle a lot. For those who are chocolate-lovers like me, you MUST give this a try! Trust me! However, the mini-sized is a little small for my appetite.

Feeling not satisfied by amount, i went to order ice-cream.

Nutty Peanut Butler and Oreo

The Oreo tastes slightly ordinary. However, the nutty peanut ice-cream leaves a nutty after-taste in my mouth after I walked out from the store.
Nevertheless, the feeling is shiok after having my milkshake. Will visit here again next time for more choices.
For those working in CBD especially Tanjong Pager area, you should give this a try after your meal.

This is actually a single scope of ice-cream sandwich in between 2 very soft warm bread. It takes the chef some time to prepare it. Be patient while waiting for it.

For those who like Bailey, you should give the above a try. It is served with espresso. You might be able to sleep if you try this at night.

Aussie Dining

You can see lots of French, American, Italian and etc restaurants in Singapore. However, there are not many Australian-theme restaurants in here even though it is physically near to Singapore.

There is actually one you can tried it out in Robertson quay: Boomerang

As a pizza-lover, I definitely wish to try a pizza. There is this particular pizza that caught my attention: Wagyu beef

Next, it is the famous dessert. I heard it serves a very nice Sticky Date pudding. Of course, I ordered it.

Sticky Date Pudding

It taste nice. But I guess it is a little too sweet for my taste. When it arrived on my table, the ice-cream is already melting fast. Not so sure if it is the weather causing the problem.

For those who tried stick date pudding in this restaurant, please let me know if it tastes close to the ones in Australia or not.

It's Stickydate, NOT stickydate pudding

I had a great chance to Auckland for another work trip. I simply love the weather there!!
It's so cooling. Not a single drop of sweat!! You don't have to turn on the air-con at all.
How i wish SG weather is like this.. :)

I was looking for Stick date pudding in the restaurant near my office area. However, none of the restaurant has it. So I thought I might settle it with Sticky date minus the pudding....

stickydate_01

The sweetness taste (slightly sweeter) almost the same as the pudding version. However, it lacks of the softness. Well, they are 2 different food. So I can't complain much...
I was told this shop serves 1 of the great sticky date in Auckland. For me, I am not too sure.
If you have a chance to Auckland, do come to this Sticky Fingers Restaurant. It is located at the outskirts of the city: Northshore, Apollo Drive

As Sour as Sally

Another work trip to Jakarta.
I am someone who don't really fancy much about Yogurt. To me, it is just a so-called slightly over-priced healthy food replacement or dessert.
While I was looking around in a shopping mall after my dinner, I came across this small shop that caught my attention. It was full of customers!
I was wondering what they are selling. I decided to walk in and check it out.
To my surprise, this shop is selling Yogurt. For someone sweet-tooth as me, i definitely want to try it out.
Thus i decide to try the Strawberry flavour.

It is 1 of the better Yogurt that I ever tasted before. It is so YUMMY!
The next day, i checked with my colleagues and realized that this shop is actually very famous and popular in Jakarta.
Next time, if you have a chance to visit Jakarta, you might wish to try it out.

Dessert time! Anyone?

Whenever I passed by this restaurant: Azabysabo in Marina Square, there is a always a long queue for its dessert. I wanted to give a try, but I decided to give it amissz due to its queue.

One day, I happened to walk past and found there was no queue. Immediately, I walked in. Furthermore, I was looking for a place to settle down for dinner.

We ordered some side dishes before the desserts.
I must say the service is quite fast! The food is served after 5mins upon placing orders.

The mochi is sitting on top of red beans. However, the mochi is kind of hard to chew. It would be great if it is softer.

Overall, it is a nice dining experience. I saw other guests having BIG BIG bowl of chocolate ice-cream. As there are too many varieties, I really have no idea which to choose. I shall return with a empty stomach again! :)

P.S Cafe

pscafe_03

Dempsey area is one of my chill out place after work. More and more restaurants are seen "popping out" and PS cafe is one of the popular ones among them. It has outdoor and indoor dining. Ambiance is great BUT service is so-so.

pscafe_02
Double Chocolate Cheese Cake

PS cafe serves very nice unique cakes. As seem from above, chocolate and cheese form the top and inner layers respectively. The cheese is just right, not TOO cheesy. As we were hunger for more food, we ordered the fries.

Fries

The fries come in a large plate.Nothing special about their fries and  personally, I feel it's a bit over price (about $15). Do look out for their cakes if you get a chance to step into the cafe!!!

2am Dessert Bar

Happen to passby this bar while on my way to dinner in Holland Village.
It seemed like a nice chillout place from outside and my wife and I decided to give it a try.

Toffee Pudding

Upon stepping into the bar, we were greeted by the friendly staff and got ourselves a sofa bed.
Their dessert selection had indeed put us in a "dilemma" on what to pick. Based on the detailed and thorough recommendations from the staff, we finally took their popular pudding paired with Italian Moscato.

It was a perfect match! The pudding was delicious but the portion was a bit small for my big appetite.
I heard that this bar was opened by a young lady. Anyone can verify this??

I can't imagine a world without great wine!
